Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech/Language Pathology

Our specialists provide a comprehensive program of physical, occupational and speech therapy rehabilitation. With the help of these services and our experienced team, patients recovering from an accident, suffering from post-surgical restrictions, or from the debilitating effects of disease can return to a productive life.

Under the direction of our medical director, Dr. Devin Troyer, our physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech/language pathologists work closely with referring physicians, physician extenders and the nursing staff to assess your needs and provide the most effective treatment plan. This team approach employs a comprehensive range of services to meet our patient’s needs.

The therapeutic pool at our West Wateree Medical Complex is a critical part of our comprehensive rehabilitation program. The warm water pool provides patients a more comfortable and less stressful medium to work through their rehabilitation. Our certified staff assists patients in their recovery from orthopaedic injuries or surgeries and also helps individuals suffering from osteoporosis and arthritis with water-based exercise.

A referral from your physician is required to access our rehabilitation services. Typically, but not always, your initial visit will be set up by your physician’s office. You should plan to arrive 20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to complete the registration process. And do remember to bring your physician’s order for rehab services with you.

Initial appointments usually last approximately one hour, and subsequent visits usually last 30 to 45 minutes. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and appropriate shoes. And if you need to cancel your appointment, we ask that you do so at least 24 hours in advance so that the time set aside for you can be allocated to help another patient.
